Royal Engineers Life Jacket 

The Royal Engineers Lifejacket is designed to support a fully clothed and equipped soldier, where equipment can weigh up to 45kg distributed in backpack and waist belts.

• This personal flotation device has a large buoyancy factor – 380N
• Automatic / manual inflation by easy pull tab, also includes oral inflation tube
• Self-righting action when in water
• Will keep wearer’s mouth at least 120mm clear of water, optional spray hood for additional protection in heavy seas
• Optimised for quick release and removal while wearing full combat equipment.
• Buddy line, light and whistle
• Deployable Day-Glo and reflective panels
• This personal protection equipment has a service life of ten years when used and maintained under normal circumstances
• Nitrogen fired
