MFC Survival is renowned for its innovative safety, survival and rescue products that include inflatable rescue sleds, inflatable rapid response shelters, stretchers, airlift recovery systems, life jackets, and camouflage systems. We specialise in military, emergency and water and multi-purpose rescue equipment which has been developed through direct consultation with our customers.

Our world wide customer base includes the MoD, Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Humanitarian Organisations. We also supply OEM equipment to many international companies.

Innovation in Safety and Survival

Inflatable products have been used by the military in a variety of ways since the Second World War. With the reduction in manpower in modern times inflatable products have been become more popular for their ease of use and rapid deployment. Today inflatables are used by the emergency services worldwide in such diverse scenarios as natural disasters, major incidents and humanitarian missions where rapid response is required. MFC Survival products such as our inflatable rapid response shelters have been used in earthquake disaster areas including Kobe in Japan and Mexico City, and in the aftermath of terrorist attacks such as New York 9/11 and the London Underground bombings. Much of our equipment including our inflatable rescue sleds, and airlift recovery systems is used for training purposes at the Fire Service Training College at Moreton-in-Marsh and Outreach Rescue in Bangor.

Since 1995 MFC Survival has held a Quality Certificate of Approval and currently holds BS EN ISO9001:2000. Prior to this MFC Survival was quality approved by the Ministry of Defence to AQAP4.

The company is registered on the Ministry of Defence Contractors list. MFC Survival is also a member of FIRESA (Fire and Rescue Suppliers Association), the DMA (Defence Manufacturers Association) and Cardiff Chamber of Commerce.
